These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding contract between you and Walk and Talk Inc. ("Walk and Talk," "we," "us," "our") concerning your use of the Walk and Talk mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, installing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.
1. Service Description
Walk and Talk is a social wellness platform that combines physical activity with meaningful conversations. Our Service enables users to find walking partners, track their walking activities, and engage in voice conversations while walking, promoting both physical health and social connection.
2. Eligibility
Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent and supervision.
Account Restrictions
You may create and maintain only one Walk and Talk account. Creating multiple accounts or using false information is prohibited.
Health Considerations
By using the Service, you confirm that you are physically capable of participating in walking activities. Consult your healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- You may not transfer your account to another person without our consent
4. User Conduct & Community Guidelines
You agree to use the Service responsibly and respectfully. You may not:
- Harass, intimidate, stalk, or threaten other users
- Share inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without our written consent
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Encourage dangerous activities or provide false health advice
- Share other users' personal information without consent
We reserve the right to remove content, suspend features, or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines, at our sole discretion.
5. Walking Safety & Liability
⚠️ Important Safety Notice
You assume all risks associated with walking activities and meeting other users. Walk and Talk is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or incidents that occur during walks or user meetings. Always:
- Meet in public, well-lit areas
- Inform someone of your walking plans
- Follow local traffic and pedestrian laws
- Stay aware of your surroundings
- Trust your instincts and leave if uncomfortable
- Carry identification and emergency contact information
6. User Content
Content License
By submitting content (including profile information, photos, voice recordings, messages, and walking data) to the Service, you grant Walk and Talk a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
Content Responsibility
You retain ownership of your content and are solely responsible for it. You represent that you have all necessary rights to share any content you submit and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, without prior notice and at our sole discretion.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
You acknowledge that location data and voice recordings are essential features of the Service. You can control these permissions through your device settings and app preferences.
8. Premium Features & Payments
Subscription Plans
We may offer premium features through paid subscriptions. Subscription terms, including price and features, will be clearly disclosed before purchase.
Billing
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account.
Refunds
Refunds are handled according to the policies of the App Store or Google Play Store through which you made the purchase. We do not directly process refunds.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, content, and technology (excluding user content), is owned by Walk and Talk Inc. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.
"Walk and Talk" and our logo are trademarks of Walk and Talk Inc. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as maps, health apps, or social media platforms). Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.
11. Disclaimers
Service "As Is": The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
No Guarantees: We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee the accuracy of walking data, user profiles, or any health-related information.
User Interactions: We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or offline. You interact with other users at your own risk.
Health Disclaimer: The Service is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult qualified health providers with questions about medical conditions.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Walk and Talk Inc. and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) $100 or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Walk and Talk Inc. and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your content or activities
14. Termination
By You
You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us at support@walkandtalk.app. Termination will not entitle you to any refunds for unused subscription periods.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. Reasons for termination may include violation of these Terms, prolonged inactivity, or requests by law enforcement.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. We may delete your account and content, though some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
15. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before filing any legal claim, you agree to try to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at legal@walkandtalk.app.
Arbitration
Any disputes not resolved informally will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive your right to jury trial and to participate in class actions.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Walk and Talk Inc. regarding the Service.
Severability

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
Assignment

17. Updates to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect, unless the changes are required by law. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
